Hey,
you keep us busy! Nico and the IT team are rotating 24/7 and we are constantly confronted with our own fallibility. Unpleasant, but instructive 🙌 . There are a number of bugs that we were able to eliminate with your help – thank you also for the constant flood of ideas and feature requests. This sometimes overwhelms our brain capacity, but is also hugely inspiring. This is exactly how great products are born and anything else would be boring 😎.
What’s next? In addition to fixing assets and completely unexpected challenges (“Hey, why did Amazon actually lose 95% today?”), we have a few plans for June that we want to share with you.
- Crypto tokens find their way into our catalog. And very extensively.
- Major security update with V2 of the user profile
- Editing transactions directly in the frontend. This means that errors can be edited directly during import, for example.
- Bugfixing dividends – this is still very rudimentary so far and will work better afterwards.
We are also considering offering you much more options and freedom for independent entry and editing in the future. Automations are nice, but they are only as good as the underlying data. If, for example, dividends from issuers are incorrectly labeled, the result in the calculation simply looks modest. The same applies to new markups in the PDFs, which are then interpreted incorrectly when transactions are imported. We are constantly working on improving these processes, but errors will always occur. That’s why it makes sense for us to include the user as an additional instance here.
Perhaps you would like to share your opinion in 📢direct-feedback.
Otherwise, stay tuned – we wish you all a great week 🤜 🤛 !
