KNRG provides exposure to the corporate sector of the fixed income market. It actively invests in a concentrated portfolio of credit instruments issued by energy and infrastructure companies specifically in developed markets. These credit instruments include, but are not limited to, debt, bonds, notes, loans, hybrid securities, and preferred shares. The fund uses a bottom-up fundamental analysis in selecting instruments believed to have an attractive combination of yield and capital appreciation. It invests without limitations on credit quality, maturity, duration, currency, or capitalization. The fund may utilize a hedging strategy using derivatives in managing default risk and generating income. It may also employ a call or put spread strategy depending on the instrument's price movement forecast.
