In case of private companies, the fund prefers to invest in later stage. It does not invest in hostile public to private transactions. The fund's objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation principally through investment in smaller unquoted companies and AIM quoted companies in the United Kingdom with strong growth potential. It invests up to £1million ($1.65 million) in any company in one year and no more than 15 percent of the company's assets by cost in one business at any time. The fund seeks to take a Non-Executive Board seat on its investee companies. It may co-invest in case of larger deals.
