The fund aims to provide monthly distributions and capital preservation by primarily investing in preferred shares issued by split share corporations listed on a Canadian exchange. The funds strategy takes advantage of split share corporations that typically convert the risk/returns of conventional dividend-paying shares into multiple classes of publicly traded shares, as well as preferred shares take precedence in dividend payment and eventual returns of the initial price.
