In addition, it holds 100% interest in the San Lucas property consists of 8 mineral concessions covering 79.6 hectares located to the north of the city of Durango. The company was formerly known as Oremex Silver Inc. and changed its name to Monarca Minerals Inc. in August 2016. Oremex Silver Inc. was incorporated in 1995 and is based in Toronto, Canada.
