The fund aims for exposure to Canadian companies and monthly distributions of dividend and call option income. Its equal-weighted portfolio is composed of equity and equity-related securities of companies that are primarily involved in the crude oil and natural gas industries. Holdings are also among the largest and most liquid companies listed on the TSX. In order to mitigate risks and generate income, the fund will generally write covered call options on 100% of the portfolios securities and may vary based on market volatility and other factors.
