The fund aims for regular dividend income and long-term capital growth by primarily investing in equity securities of North American companies with above average dividend yields. It also seeks to hedge its non-CAD currency exposure, if any, at all times. Its portfolio is determined by the fund advisers proprietary methodology which is based on fundamental and technical factors. Holdings are diversified among different companies and industry sectors. The fund may also invest in fixed income securities and futures contracts to achieve its investment objective.
