It invests in the US dollar-denominated, fixed-rate securities such as treasuries, government-related and corporate securities, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, and commercial mortgage-backed securities with a minimum time to maturity of one year. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody's. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index, by employing representative sampling methodology.
