The fund is actively managed to provide exposure to financial services companies primarily listed in major global exchanges. The fund aims for consistent long-term growth and dividend income. Financial services companies may include, but are not limited to, commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, brokerages, asset managers, exchanges, financial technology companies, real estate investment trusts and other investment companies. To determine which stocks are eligible, the fund manager uses his expertise and a specialized analysis, reviewing a company’s attributes such as valuation and growth prospects, its macro environment, including, GDP growth, inflation and interest rate trends, fiscal and monetary policies, and regulatory and sector trends. The fund may hedge up to 100% of the ETF’s non-Canadian dollar currency exposure.
