CNL Healthcare Properties, Inc. is a Maryland corporation that incorporated on June 8, 2010. We elected to be taxed as a REIT for U.S. federal income tax purposes beginning with the year ended December 31, 2012 and our intention is to be organized and operate in a manner that allows us to remain qualified as a REIT for federal income tax purposes.
