CalciTech Ltd. develops and commercializes synthetic calcium carbonate (SCC) in Europe. It produces SCC from waste lime and air polluting carbon dioxide. The company offers three SCC products targeting the paper industry, which comprise CalciLS, which is designed to maximize light scattering; CalciSG that is designed to provide a gloss coating for premium grade printing and writing papers; and CalciRG, a performance-enhancing additive targeted at the rotogravure market.
