The fund invests in the public equity markets of developed countries in Europe. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the STOXX Europe 600 Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as iShares STOXX Europe 600 (DE). iShares STOXX Europe 600 UCITS ETF (DE) was founded on February 13, 2004 and is domiciled in Germany.
