Enel Generación Costanera S.A. generates electricity through thermal process in Argentina. It owns and operates a diversified plant, which include six conventional cycle monoblock units operated by steam with an installed capacity of 1,138 MW of power; and two combined cycle plant units with 327 MW and 859 MW of energy capacity. The company was formerly known as Central Costanera S.A. and changed its name to Enel Generación Costanera S.A. in October 2016.
