The investment seeks current income and capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of the value of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in various credit-related instruments. The fund may invest up to 100% of its net assets in any one of the categories of instruments included in the preceding sentence.
