It is co-managed by BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited, Blackrock Financial Management Inc., and BlackRock (Singapore) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of developed countries across the globe. It invests in fixed-rate, US Dollar, Euro, Sterling, and Canadian Dollar denominated corporate bonds issued by industrial, utilities, and financial companies with a minimum time to maturity of 1.5 years. The fund invests in the high yield securities which are rated between BB+ and C by S&P, Ba1 and Ca by Moody's, and BB+ and CCC by Fitch. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx Global Developed Markets Liquid High Yield Capped Index, by employing representative sampling methodology.
